Our babysitter Kelly wanted to design and make a purse for her sister (so sweet). She got an idea of what her sister wanted...went to the fabric store...picked out some stuff...came over and this is the end result!! Very cute...several pockets on the inside for textbooks/cell phone/lipgloss/ and pens (all the essentials for a teenager). I guess the latest thing is the Hollister bag...which is made from pretty much the same fabric...but cost probably four times as much...oh the joys of paying for a name!!!

A purse for me....
I've been carrying around my fake Kate Spade purse for quite awhile...and thought I really should be carrying around one of my bags!!! So...here is one I sewed up this morning...I wanted something with some black in it. I'm already drooling over some fabric for a more springy looking one that I would like to make for myself too!!
Blankees for little girl Triplets!
A couple we know from college is having triplet girls!!! TRIPLETS??!!! Can you imagine? My friend is close with them and ordered these blankees for them....and I sewed up the Stinky Wristlet to send along as well from us. Anyways...the entire time I was sewing away I was just trying to imagine what a house would be like with three little babies....all at once!! Crazy, wild and what a neat adventure they are about to go on!!! Fun fun!! I love to sew for people I know...it makes it so much more meaningful!!
